1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using karvelsoma's services, including our website, mobile applications, or engaging in a vehicle rental agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and karvelsoma. By completing a reservation or signing a rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Definitions

For purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

• "Company," "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to karvelsoma
• "User," "You," or "Client" refers to the individual or entity using our services
• "Vehicle" refers to any automobile rented from karvelsoma
• "Rental Period" refers to the agreed duration of the vehicle rental
• "Services" refers to all offerings provided by karvelsoma, including vehicle rentals, concierge support, and related amenities

3. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from karvelsoma, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been held for a minimum of two years
• Provide a valid credit or debit card in your name for payment and deposit purposes
• Present valid identification documents
• Meet any additional requirements specified for particular vehicle types

4. Reservations and Bookings

4.1 Booking Process

Reservations can be made through our website, mobile app, phone, or email. All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our discretion.

4.2 Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from karvelsoma via email or other electronic communication. This confirmation will include rental details, pricing, and pickup arrangements.

4.3 Modifications

You may request changes to your reservation subject to availability. Modifications must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Changes may result in price adjustments.

4.4 Cancellations

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the rental cost. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup or for no-shows.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Rental Fees

All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include GST where applicable. Rental fees are based on the selected rental package (Morning Drive, Full-Day Touring, or Week-Long Residency) and include comprehensive insurance, delivery, collection, and specified amenities.

5.2 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit will be authorized on your credit card at the time of vehicle delivery. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type and will be specified in your rental agreement. The deposit will be released within 7-10 business days after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition.

5.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and bank transfers. Payment must be completed before vehicle delivery.

5.4 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for mileage exceeding the included allowance, late returns, refueling charges if the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level, toll charges, parking fines, traffic violations, and damage or cleaning fees.

6. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

6.1 Authorized Drivers

Only individuals listed on the rental agreement and who meet our eligibility requirements are authorized to drive the vehicle. Unauthorized drivers will void insurance coverage.

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the vehicle for commercial purposes or transporting passengers for hire
• Participate in racing, rallying, or any competitive driving events
• Transport illegal goods or engage in illegal activities
• Allow the vehicle to be operated by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Exceed the vehicle's specified passenger or cargo capacity
• Smoke inside the vehicle
• Transport pets without prior authorization

6.3 Geographic Restrictions

The vehicle may be driven within Singapore and, with prior written authorization, to Malaysia. Travel to other countries is prohibited without express permission.

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1 Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage as required by Singapore law. This coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the insurance policy.

7.2 Deductibles

In the event of an accident or damage, you will be responsible for the insurance deductible amount specified in your rental agreement. This deductible will be charged to your payment method.

7.3 Liability Limitations

You are financially responsible for all damage to the vehicle, including collision damage, theft, vandalism, and weather-related damage, up to the deductible amount. You are also liable for any traffic violations, parking tickets, or toll charges incurred during the rental period.

8. Accidents and Damage

In the event of an accident, theft, or damage to the vehicle:

• Notify karvelsoma immediately at +65 6847 2391
• Contact local authorities and obtain a police report
• Do not admit fault or make statements about liability
• Cooperate fully with insurance investigators
• Complete an accident report form provided by karvelsoma
• Provide all requested documentation and information

9. Vehicle Return

Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location specified in your rental agreement. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as when received, with the same fuel level. Late returns may incur additional charges at our standard hourly or daily rate.

If you anticipate a delay, contact us immediately. Unauthorized extensions may result in additional fees and potential reporting of the vehicle as stolen.

10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we maintain our vehicles to high standards, we make no warranties regarding the condition, reliability, or suitability of any vehicle for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold karvelsoma, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your rental and repossess the vehicle without prior notice if you breach these terms, provide false information, use the vehicle for prohibited purposes, or fail to make required payments.

Upon termination, you must immediately return the vehicle to the specified location. You remain liable for all charges accrued up to the point of termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13.2 Informal Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Many concerns can be addressed through direct communication with our customer service team.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
